All Hallows Eve

Holly really likes Halloween. She gets into it every year and likes to go out and do things dressed up. I like Halloween but just not as much as Holly. This year we went to a party on Saturday night with some of my co-workers from Starbucks. Holly came up with the idea of dressing up as Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox.
Here we are, all dressed up at the party. I can't take much of the credit for the costumes. All I had to do was find a flannel shirt and suspenders at the Goodwill for my costume. Not too hard. The axe was out of cardboard and Holly put the duct tape on it to finish it up. I realized after it was too late that I should have found a beard to wear to complete my costume. Holly's costume was a little more tricky. She ended up getting some old blue pant scrubs from the goodwill and a blue long sleeved shirt from Target. She found the bell in the dollar section at Target and made the horns and ears from felt. Holly is so creative.
These were some awesome cookies that were at the party. They look like fingers.

On Sunday morning Holly made pancakes in the shape of pumpkins for Halloween. She made them completely from scratch. They were yummy. Hers are the ones on top with blueberries and my pancakes had chocolate chips. It was a great way to finish a very fun weekend.
